God has been speaking to me for some time about the women of Condobolin, many of who do it very tough. I believe women are very precious to God - for many reasons but one of them being that they, mothers or not, intuitively carry within them a heart for the next generation. This is definately the case in Condo. Women are very important to God's plans.
In response to this, last Saturday night we launched our Sister's group - a gathering of women who God wants to restore a sense of value to and equip to bring lasting change through their touch on children and young people.
So - there we were. Releasing life, purpose and dignity to a group of gorgeous Condo girls. I was thrilled - God grace was very real, there was so much fun, food and laughter and the girls just loved the chance to talk, be pampered and find in their words, "a place to belong".
The beginnings of an important shift in some key Condo girls and the beginnings of a new season for our church here in Condo - we are beginning to take shape!
